The TOP DOG Unidapt System is a highly versatile system allowing you to use different styles of shanks to fit any chucking style, to combine them for extended lengths and to insert tip forms for varying drilling operations. The cutting tool adapter is designed to enable short drill inserts to be used in place of special extended length custom tools. The Unidapt System is based upon the concept of a locking taper which secures the insert within the tool holder without slippage or backlash. The Tool Holders are offered in a variety of lengths in both straight shank or Morse Taper design. Drill inserts are available in a wide assortment of sizes and tip forms made from HSS and Cobalt. 7-piece sets are offered in either ST (60-degree) or B (60/120-degree bell) forms.
